Dr. R. Nandini is the Managing Director of Chandra Group, a leader in textiles and automotive sectors, managing over 1,000 employees. She chairs GRG Educational Institutions, overseeing 10 centres of academic excellence with 13,000+ students and 1,500+ faculty and staff. Her initiatives in women empowerment and education have significantly improved academic standards, highlighted by PSGR Krishnammal College for Women’s top national ranking and A++ grade accreditation.

A dedicated philanthropist, Dr. Nandini has launched numerous social welfare projects, including a school and Rural BPO Centre for tribal children, initiatives through the Indian Red Cross Society, and support for women’s Self Help Groups and skill development. As the Deputy Chairperson of CII Southern Region for FY24, she drives industrial growth and development, holding influential positions on various boards, including NIT Tiruchirappalli, Magna Electro Castings Limited, and Cognizant Foundation.
